butterfly valve

guys my butterfly valve is sticking and causing the car to jolt any ideas on how to free it up?

Take it off then use lots of wd40 and elbow grease

Take the intake pipe off, clean it in place with carb cleaner then a bit of spray grease at the pivot points. Also clean and grease the right hand side where the throttle cable sits.
