I will need some kind of proof for that

Mine never went above 24mpg city driving while it was N/A, nor did any of my acquitances. We call f20a4 flat-rate engines because no matter do you drive them hard or light, they seems to be getting 24mpg exactly

I have to convert mpg to L/100km because that is our unit, so just to be sure, you are saying your lude is doing 7L/100km city driving? That is more than amazing.

30-36mpg in both of my old f20a4s and the same in my type S h22.

Since supercharged I have not measured but it might be around 24 smiles per gallon.

I seem to be averaging around the low 30's - I'm also on the F20a but on a 5G. That's a mix of motorway and town/A road driving.
Purely on motorways I get 35, I was expecting a little more but then maybe I just need to be a little less heavy with the right foot

So factory declared consumption is 25mpg city, 35 highway, but all of you are getting 25% better than that?
I dont want to be rude, but that just doesn't sound right.

I managed 318.2 miles and filled up with 46.39 litres last week - works out a tad over 30 to the gallon. That was the first decent running the engine had had in 6 months and it was driving down to Cornwall so lots of fun driving as well, so there was probably slightly more economy on the table.

Sure, but that is open road and I find that normal. But 30-35mpg city driving is a bit of a stretch. Not even modern eco engines do that.

What unit of measurement are you using?

We use UK imperial gallons. It's different to US liquid gallons.

UK 5th gen brochure specified urban at 26mpg, highway 43mpg and combined at 34mpg for the f20a4. 2mpg less for the vtec.

That might be it, I am using L/100km and then convert it to mpg. Used default google converter, probably US

my maths might not be tip top but the fill up before last i logged the milage then based on miles done till next fill up the calculation was done , so i did 321 miles and put in 47.41 litres , will recalculate on the next fill up also
