I will need some kind of proof for that
Mine never went above 24mpg city driving while it was N/A, nor did any of my acquitances. We call f20a4 flat-rate engines because no matter do you drive them hard or light, they seems to be getting 24mpg exactly
I have to convert mpg to L/100km because that is our unit, so just to be sure, you are saying your lude is doing 7L/100km city driving? That is more than amazing.

I managed 318.2 miles and filled up with 46.39 litres last week - works out a tad over 30 to the gallon. That was the first decent running the engine had had in 6 months and it was driving down to Cornwall so lots of fun driving as well, so there was probably slightly more economy on the table.Brozilla wrote:So factory declared consumption is 25mpg city, 35 highway, but all of you are getting 25% better than that?
I dont want to be rude, but that just doesn't sound right.

Sure, but that is open road and I find that normal. But 30-35mpg city driving is a bit of a stretch. Not even modern eco engines do that.Jackson Bondy wrote: I managed 318.2 miles and filled up with 46.39 litres last week - works out a tad over 30 to the gallon. my maths might not be tip top but the fill up before last i logged the milage then based on miles done till next fill up the calculation was done , so i did 321 miles and put in 47.41 litres , will recalculate on the next fill up also
