dumb exhaust question

Should there be any O ring gaskets in the cat joints or just the normal gaskets?
just took the mongoose I bought apart and it looks like its been blowing everywhere but joined with far too small bolts so out of line everywhere and no gaskets used  just want to be prepared for fitting.
Also the decat pipe flanges look bowed is this comon with cheapies? I know the cat back is mongoose but not sure about manifold, downpipes, decat origin

Should be gaskets but depends who fit them as larger than standard bore gaskets are a sod to get! Most places use a silicone based gasket.

Yeh warping is common, even on higher end exhaust parts. Uber heat is hard to beat.

Just make your own gaskets mate, trust me its by far the easiest option

Gasket sheet is a good idea, although a lot of garages I've used have just used gasket paste or something like that. Seals, and no need finding bigger gaskets!

Awesome :)

Take some pics as you go mate, I'm sure there's a million ways of doing it, I found that sandwiching the gasket sheet between two pieces of wood and then cutting the center hole out gave the cleanest edge!

If you need a 2.5" hole cutter give me a shout, bought a pretty nice one when I made my gaskets and will gladly lend you it :)
