I need to replace my backbox from the rice rocket one I bought it with to the original type. The wife's refusing to drive it! (Plus I hate it too )

I can't seem to find a 5th gen backbox at all on any page I'm looking but I've found plenty 4th gens.

Polish but I'm sure you guys and gals can figure it out. It looks similar to the 5th gen but maybe it's just slightly different in a way that won't fit.

You should be able to get one from Europarts or eBay if your after a standard one as for stainless steel you can get one made up or wait to one appears for sale on here as for fitting I don't think they do as the hangers are in different places but I think you can move them if your handy with welding sure other guys confirm this

I've been scouring ebay (us, pl, gb, it) for days, can't find one. Eurocarparts has one for 175 quid plus shipping for me that'd be a pricey lil' thing.

The length is fractionally different between the two gens (About an inch or so). I think it's the 5th gen that is slightly longer, so a 4th gen would fall short and most likely blacken/melt your rear bumper/lip.

You could try this, if it's bog standard you're after...

I'd send them a question asking what the bore size is being they're also suggesting it would fit an F20a4.

I bought mine from the states in 2008 ish.
It is a cat back and was about £150 plus postage.
It has lasted really well.
I remember having to get it altered at the cat end as it was too short , I think the US cat is longer IIRC
It has a removable baffle but is a bit loud when removed.

PS Note to self I need to READ posts you are after a standard one

Also, I'm in Poland. That eBay listing won't ship. I'm on the PTP forum as well asking around there. Will start ringing breaker's yards if they have one. Annoying thing is whoever put this rice rocket on they welded it to to mid-section so I've needed to buy that as well. That was easy enough to find, just need the back box.

People on here have fitted 4g exhausts to 5g's before
Donald being one of them, who should be able to fill in the pitfalls/successes better
From what I remember, the hangers on a 5g back box are different to a 4g bust can be modified to fit.

I ended up managing to find a local-ish breaker's yard who sold me the backbox for 100zl. Along with the 150zl mid section not toooo pricey. A lot less pricey than the guy on here who was trying to sell me those two for 1000zl!
