Lude Generation

Heyo,

I would like to know if anyone went and replaced their front engine mount, and what make / manufacturer replacement did you buy?
OEM costs almost 200EUR which is a bit much for me ATM, given it's essentially a molded piece of rubber?

Also read a couple of threads on the matter and they didn't fill me with optimism, everyone is complaining of poor aftermarket quality..

I replaced the front mount on my 4th gen a couple of years ago and have had no problem with it
The front mount is a copy of the OEM mount and is made by YAMATO pt no.154099YMT
4th and 5th gen Manual front mounts are the same.

Likewise, I've replaced the front mount with an after market version before - a long time ago (ten years on my UKDM) and had no problem.
I can't recall the make tbh, but might be able to dig out the info.

I recently bought a set of 3 off ebay (not including the passenger side oil filled one), it was an aftermarket set manufactured in Taiwan but it didn't seem to have a brand name, i cant post a link because it was the last set but they worked fine and the car is so much better to drive now.

They weren't perfect as i had to drill out the holes in the new rear mount as they were too small (seems a common issue even with hardrace ones) and i couldn't transfer the little counterweight from the old gearbox mount onto the new mount as the holes didn't line up but that doesn't matter anyway.

So yeah i don't think you'll have an issue with an aftermarket front mount.

So, I would also like to swap out my rear motor mount, but I can't find a replacement aftermarket part here in Europe, only those ones from rockauto.

Any advice as to where I could get one, or which Hondas have the same mount?

(Again, the OEM is like 200 EUR which is crazy to say the least.)

The oem part number you want to match is 50810-SS0-000

@Anzezaf depending how bad your current bush is ..... you can buy the polyurethane in a tube and fill your existing mount

I'm worried about vibrations that fully-filled mounts would cause?
