In preparation for Friday's rebuild of the top end, I did a quick refurb of the rocker cover, including the lettering. It had to be cheap and cheerful as I only had a few hours to spend on it, but, it didn't turn out too badly considering. The letter edging is by far the hardest part, just as I completed it I worked out a far, far simpler way to do it........... hindsight, always the way! :D

I might edge it, I'm not sure; it has to dry for at least 24 hours, so I'd have to do it tomorrow in preparation for Friday, but I've already planned to work on something else (another car).

I wait a few hours for the crinkle paint to dry enough, but before its fully cured. I then use a sharp stanley blade on its own to slice the paint off, works well for me...
