Thank you for those links Drax, much appreciated.

What was I looking at there then? Looked completely different and indeed more expensive....?

they are part of the belt tensioner system but not the actual tensioner. some people will say swap everything but in my opinion you only really need the cambelt, tensioner and waterpump from experience. unless the engine has had a terribly hard life, or theres been another problem with various items on that side of the engine, those additional belt tension items are unlikely to be damaged or worn much.

im sure if im wrong one of the LG experts will correct me

Blueprint is a normally a reasonable choice if you dont want to pay for Genuine Honda parts.

You might want to consider the parts same parts i have here
The bearings are 3 month old used genuine Honda (koyo) and the belts are both brand new in box made by Gates.
Parts are surplus to requirements so im looking for £80 delivered (mainland UK) :)

If they're blueprint, they'll be fine, yes.

Vanzep thanks, I don't see a tensioner there though??

Stupid question perhaps, but will these parts fit a 5G / H22A5?

you can reuse the tensioner or buy a new one - genuine Honda ones are available from Htune @ £99
the service manual says they can be reused and there is a bracket type tool for taking them off/putting them on
but to be sure i would recommend buying a new one - new ones come with the bracket type tool thingy
i rekon a lot of past failures on tensioners is due to incorrect handling but early facelift 4th gens did have problems with tensioner failures and honda redesigned the part a bit to fix this.
if you want to reuse the tensioner on the car then i can loan you a spare bracket thingy

its all down to how much money you have or want to spend ;)

parts i have fit 4th and 5th gens as its basicaly the same H22 engine

Thanks buddy... sold! PM me your details and I’ll pay you.

I’ll replace the tensioner, but if I need the bracket thingy to remove / replace it then a loan would be most excellent :)
