I’ve had a skunk2 inlet manifold for ages waiting for me to fit, I’m thinking about doing it this weekend but I’m starting to hear bad things about it.

Apparently they’re only good with turbos, I’ve also heard of people actually loosing power with them. Anyone here running one can clear things up for me? Thanks

Their very good for an n/a car, but you'll need to get the car remapped to get the most out of them as you'll lose a little power (hardly anything) until the tune that's all.

Do you have a throttle body to match it? I'm not sure what their stock with is on the skunk2

Ah Okay, that would make sense actually, what I saw was a dyno graph before and after they fit it. So they probably didn’t get a map afterwards. That’s good to know because I wouldn’t of got a map either haha.

I’ve got a 60mm tb on at the mo but when I change the inlet I was going to put a 62mm on. I’ve seen a few people running 68 and 70s though. Not sure if that’s something I should look into or if 62mm will be good enough.

I think 62mm should do you fine for now but if your putting in bigger cams and any higher compression pistons etc plus a remap then I'd consider 68mm tb & port match but no more than that
