What kind of power are you after?

Pro 3's are highly aggressive. Pro 2's can get you up to 290 with all the right other mods, but with the benefit of allowing a tamer build whilst you get there. You can daily Pro 2's, not so much with Pro 3's.

It's going to be used for mostly track work, all foged internals and slightly ported head,

I've got skunk2 springs and retainers and I've currently got obx itbs but I'm temped to get some kinsler or twm itbs instead as can get them cheaper in the states and with free postage

The pro 3 has an aggressive vtec cam but it has the same off vtec cam as the 1 n 2

I don't want to get the 2 and wish I went for the 3 and vis versa I should have gone for the 2 rather than the 3

Like I said it will be used for the track but I'd still like to use it to drive to shows or on drive outs. Will definitely not be a daily thing

Have a word with Rich at PAW. He'll give you an honest answer. He'll be able to tell you what you could expect from both cams with your other mods.

I was in the exaxt same situation.
If you want any daily ability/idle at all. Pro 2 cams and high comp pistons would be the limit.
Rich PAW chose 11.7:1 wisecos for me and pro2 cams.
Mine is mainly street driven but very reliable power and track days every now and then.
