I have gone for the ultralight, booked in with PAW in a few weeks. The clutch has to come out anyway to replace the rear main oil seal, I thought it would be rude not to get a lightened flywheel while it is all apart :D

I was gonna ask if that oil leak turned out to be the rear main seal :)

Well it is still not certain, but it can't really be anything else, all the other seals have been done. If Rich get's his hands on it and finds it is something simple that will be great, but I really doubt it. I was just going to leave it until it got much worse but I think the leak is getting a little worse, still not enough to notice on the dipstick but is giving me a few more drips now. I might as well get it done so the car is totally mechanically sound :)

Worth keeping on top of things - otherwise eventually you end up with several smaller jobs that becomes a burden (either finance wise, or time wise).

For some reason my oil loss seems to have slowed down since the last track day - which doesn't make sense! Not complaining however... Will replace it when the ATR box is rebuilt and goes on.

Rich fitted the CC 4.4kg in my ATR a few years back when the clutch needed doing. More or less free labour if done at the same time.

One of the best mods I did, add a solid front engine mount for extra awesomeness (although the first time you start up your teeth think you are at the dentist).

You soon get used to giving that little blip on the throttle to stop it stalling when you drive off. And there's the enjoyment you get watching anyone that moves your car stall it. Revs do drop with Aircon on, and your bones then shudder with the solid mount, but all worth it. It just frees up the car and makes it so much more drivable.
