Lo Peops
Repainted My exhaust manifold heat shield today and managed to snap off the lower bolt
Two upper bolts will hold it no probs so not to bad.
Whilst I was searching for the head of the bolt I felt something loose sitting on top of the plastic engine under tray.
Cheers
When I managed to get it out I took a picture of it.
I think it's dropped off the bottom of the condenser
Is this a problem
Anyone else had this happen
Cheers

Condenser ?
I'm pretty sure i'm missing 1 or 2 rows aswell. Careful with the pressure washer. Nothing to worry about if your aircon still works. Lose too many and it wont work aswell...

Condenser ?
Yep, that's the bottom row of fins off the a/c condenser. It means the fins all over the condenser have corroded and swelled the height of the condenser, 'bursting' the cross piece top/bottom.
You can expect to lose some more pretty soon I would say, the effectiveness of the a/c will start to drop as more are shed and it may start to cause leaks. Will also Ben covering your radiator fins on white aluminium oxide, slowly blocking them.
Not an urgent thing to jump on (it's not going to cause major problems for a year or so) but definitely one to plan to change when you can.
