Oxygen sensor replacement - anyone went thru this?

About 2 years? And mine burns about 1 liter every 1000 kilometers, so yeah.. I've had that thought too (that they might be fouled) :?
Gotta find the time to pop them out and see how they're doing

Oxygen sensor replacement - anyone went thru this?

Anyone know where the connectors are for the O2 sensors? I have a Prelude 2.0i with the F20A4 engine and i got my catalytic converter stolen. Long story short, i cant find any plugs except an oval shaped plug thats capped off... No loose wires, and where pictures show they should be, they arent.

Its well underneath the car if its the same as the 2.2. You will only see the connector/loom if you jack the car up and get underneath it, you will not see it from the engine bay area at all.

@Scott560 Yeah, that much i already knew. I have the car jacked up and i did look underneath. Theres only 1 connector and its capped off... i doubt the guys that stole my catalytic converter did that, so... I could understand if i had loose cut wires hanging... but i have nothing at all...

Th f20a4 o2 sensor it on the bottom of the exhaust manifold.
Take the manifold heat shield off and you'll see it near the bottom of the radiator. No need to jack the car up.

@RattyMcClelland Yeah... theres one after the exhaust manifold and one on the catalytic converter.... i know where the actual sensors are.. i am missing the plugs they connect to. I havent seen the old exhaust before they ripped it apart so i dont know where they did connect to. All info i see say the connectors should be on the passenger side basically hanging... but when i check underneath the car, theres nothing.

Oh sorry. I misread. I wonder if they just pull d the pipe taking the majority of the wiring with it. Maybe check the main looms for any snags or stretches and go from there.

@RattyMcClelland Thats ok, perhaps i should`ve been more clear :P. Anyways. Just took a look again with someone who also had experience in cars (happend to walk by as i took the car off the jackstands). He couldnt find anything either. Its as if they werent there at all. So i guess what i need to do is figure out where that piece of wiring harness splits from the engine harness, and go from there.
