Clutch options

Post by macky_6 » Tue Jun 05, 2012 1:54 pm

The clutch has went on my Type-S

So, was just wondering what the options were with regards to upgrading?

What you running? Tell me about it!

Is there much point in upgrading beyond OE? Does an upgrade represent value for money?

And if you are selling, reveal yourself

get a lightened fly (act, fidanza etc)and maybe an exedy OEM or a stage 1. I have a fidanza 8lb fly and a stage 1 with a direct hose from master cylinder and the clutch. Its lovely and smooth and it gives plenty of feedback so you know whats going on.

have a word with rich at PAW. ;)

I had the combo of Exedy OEM clutch with Fidanza lightened flywheel and that was really good. From VTECdirect for a good price.

I used a standard Prelude 2.2 clutch and it slips if I give it too much  Difinitely go for the ATR one at the very least ;)
