I know the engine will still spin the same way, but the supercharger will be run backward from having the drive belt on the right instead of left so the backwards spinning enigne would then be spinning the carger the right way

Oh and Phil, you kind of argued back but then confirmed my comment about the cost of the conversion thrown in would be more than a decent H22 build - especially Turbo or SC.

pwhor! I got there in the end, things are so difficult to explain on a keyboard!

So if a k20 kit would fit at the back of a lude engine bay then you wouldn't need to spin the head which was probably confusing the situation tbh

is till dont see how fitting the S/C to either side of the engine will make it spin in the opposite direction (the S/c) ?!

TURBOS ARE BETTER BECAUSE OF THIS!

OK. think of the supercharger flat on a table, with the rotational bearing on the left hand side.

If you spin the bearing up so it spins away from you and continues to spin, then rotate the supercharger around 180 degrees while flat on the table with the bearing still spinning. Once you finish rotating the the supercharger the bearing will be on the right and side and spinning towards you instead.

So it doesn't itself spin the other way, but provides a way to link it with the engine so that it can work.
