So I just called The rotrex guys to ask about a supercharger for the lude.

because the h22 spins counterclockwise they cant make one. Not financially viable. maybe if you threw 5k at a kit already bought then it could be made to work. :?

so other than the JRSC what options are there?

If you were feeling brave could you take it apart and reverse the impeller assy? Or make some custom brackets and mount it the otherway around?

I say it like it's easy, we all know it's not they're just ideas.

Can't you just flip the charger so it's getting driven the same as the H22A?

Thats the right principal, but the drive belt will be on the wrong side. With some clever/complicated pulley arrangement it could be overcome.

LLL, I think the solution is turbo. You don't need to worry about a Fujitsubo exhaust manifold or mounting brackets etc. then. With a very small turbo you can get similar results to a supercharger too

Yup, small turbo with around 280-300 bhp and your ATTS should be fine as I've seen people on PP pushing over 300bhp and still have ATTS.

It should be an easier build than a supercharger which is always good & probably cheaper.

Gives me an idea

all the above ideas can be attempted and some will no doubt work.. this is where the 5k comes in  ;)

tubos are not a favorite of mine. dont know why...

each to thier own :)

I had a 2.0 Turbo astra coupe, the boost was great. There are a lot of rumours around turbos being unreliable, most are unfounded or based on badly executed builds IMO.

P.S. you could probably pull of a good turbo build for half that cost.
