Anyone have any recommendations for a mid-range oil gauge & sender?

I have an autogauge at the moment but am looking to upgrade.

Cheers :)

I was going to get a drift gauge when I get the cash to replace my swoosh gauge

they are pricey but look very 8-) and not so tacky

Think it needs some other toys to make it work tho :?

hmm prefer the digital type myself, thats why I'm going for the drifts

I take it the higher the price the more accurate reading?

Yep. I'm pretty sufe Defi gauges are like the bench mark for all other gauges to get to.

Maybe in Japan, but I think Stack would top them!

Defi are nice, but pricey. What's wrong with the autogauge out of interest? I have one!

I'll have to check those out ;)

With the strange oil pressure issue I'm having I want to be be sure I'm getting the right readings and not just chasing shadows. Started the car up on the weekend, before I started the engine it was reading 5psi  which doesn't fill me with confidence that I'm getting the right info out of it.

It was fine the following time & I need to double check the wiring to make sure there are no breaks. But as you probably know, once you've spent money on a motor you get a bit twitchy about anythign which could damage it :?

Ah, fair enough - completely appreciate being twitchy about things.

Check wiring and go from there. Where is it hooked up on the engine?

My SPA Digital oil pressure gauge is accurate to within 1/10th of 1 PSI. :D

It has always been consistent, and fits in with the digital theme of the prelude dash. I've mounted mine in the front tweeter so its easy to read and not far away from the fuse box and close to the hole where the wires pass through the firewall (below and behind the fusebox).
