check see where its coming from if it looks like its coming from the pulley side of the engine it could be the balance shaft seal

Well just been out for a drive to halfords and tesco, Filled up with super unleaded, then popped to halfords to get new plugs.
The car drove fine, no missing or any thing once Id got going, but at tick over its still sounding like a subaru.
I changed the plugs and number 1 was wet and black. The rest were all fine.
Put the new plugs in, drove home, same thing, drove great when moving but at tick over splutter splutter splutter.

just going out now to check the spark on 1

When my dizzy was duff , on tick over it was fine but driving was rough.
Not sure what to suggest on the wet plug.
