Engine cut out

Once warmed up the engine will cut out whilst I'm driving, then wont restart for a while. I've resoldered the main relay, checked the ignition switch, so now i'm thinking its got to to be the dizzy. I'm getting CEL code 15 - ignition output signal. The dizzy is fairly new though which is why I checked everything else first. I have got spark but not sure if its strong enough. Any help would be appreciated.

I was going to say main relay but you've already thought of that. So with the cell code it does point to the electronics in the dizzy. Do you still have the old one? Where did you get the new one? I've had experience of a new eBay dizzy failing.

Well i had a duff icm so bought a dizzy off eBay advertised as new but when fitted it would throw cel 9. So. I took the icm and coil from the new dizzy and fitted them into the old one. It's been fine for over a year til now. Will have to check the components with a multimeter.

Another thing is when I checked the plugs, on cyl 1 the gap was out and plug was fairly worn, but would this stop it from starting and cutting out? I did reset the gap but still no luck!
