As title!

Been getting gradually worse and is now quite noticeable. More noticeable when engine is warm.

Sounds like its coming from the back, at cambelt end.

Any ideas?!

Sure it's not the valve clearances/LMAs?

Please check the crank pulley, make sure it's tight. Last thing you want is pulley comming out like mines. I had a weird noise coming from the engine before it popped out :(

Pop over and see Kev at KR Autos 01454228252 and let him have a listern. He is at Backfields you know where that is I think. Mention me Paul with the Lude and the Soarer I bought from him. I doubt he will even charge for having a look and he is pretty switched on.

ive got similar clicky type rattle - was 2500-300rpm now dropped to 2000rpm - coming from cambelt side - and its noticeable when engine is warmed up. Im thinking valve clearance or the fact that i missed putting the wee rubber bit on the edge of the new water pump.....ive just done cambelt change and manual tensioner conversion as well so would be interesting to see what you find out. Im going to try and find time to have a look this weekend. Worst case ive imagined is worn piston rings :?

I have a weird noise like this too - kind of sounds like keys jingling and it comes from the cambelt side. Only at certain revs, usually whilst pulling away. I was worried it was the auto tensioner giving up or something :?
