Engine check followed by ATTS....gremlins!
So when rich did the engine he was getting error codes which turned out to be the gentleman's sausage sensors which got sorted.
But since getting it home im getting the engine check light followed swiftly by ATTS.
After much thinking it only comes on up cold starts after around 2 miles of driving/engine warm up. Doesnt not matter if your spanking it or caresing a granny the engine check appears followed by the ATTS as it usually does.
If i pull over and turn engine off or tuen engine off whilst driving and back on the error codes dont return at all. They only appear from cold starts.
I penetrated a paper clip into my cars voice display and let it flash.
Engine check code 1 - Oxygen sensor??????
ATTS code 43 - PGM-FI communication (as thought its related to the engine)
Cant find the engine check codes but pretty sure its the O2 sensor.
How many does i have? 1......or 2.....
I assume a straight forward swap with a new un would cure the beeping Type S.

Do you ever stop working?Buzzonion Vtec wrote:Sounds like a heater circuit malfunction of the o2 sensor - yours i noticed is a universal 4 wire item which has been fitted in the past, these are common for throwing codes as the Honda ecu is quite sensitive.
New one should sort your issue ok.
