Post by vito » Tue Feb 08, 2011 12:40 am

hi all, i am starting to slowly order parts needed for turbo install and wonder what parts will fit my F22B (2.2 non vtec) engine. starting with manifold, i have looked around and there apears to be no parts for that and lots for H22A. will some parts fit? any ideas please?

Distributor is different. Can be swapped between H23 and H22, but not F22 and H22.

Difficult question man, I'd check the yank forums - see what they think (turboing is more prevalent over there).

+1. One of the best places to check is also Honda-Tech.com! Also seems that yes, the distributor is actually different.

You can't use 5g Vtec wheels on your car, you have 4 stud wheels the same as the 4g Vtec

Gearboxes are inter changeable though, manifolds are different between the F22 and the H22

Is the F22 manifold the same as the H23? Or am I imagining reading that?

Had two (and both have died on me), but never had an F22.

H23 and F22 and the F20 2.0 litre non vtec are all supposed to be the same manifold fitment and you can fit a f22 dizzy to a h22 i have done it and it worked fine.
