Ok i am gonna start a think tank/debate i have seen a guy getting flamed on pp for this but i am putting it up for discussion.
You all know i am playing with the idea of flipping the head on my H22 its a huge operation with all kinds of problems that have to be circumvented and most of the problems have a solution now.
Ok so what is the discussion about why just flip the head and go to all the trouble of running vtec outside the head fabbing the pistons and cams and all that ( i am simplifying for the discussion) why not just flip the engine!!!! and attach a civic fn2 6 speed box.

Fit a k-swap conversion in stead. Cheaper option and k swap more potential for tuning.
Plus you can have your choice of 6speed boxes/ratios

but the k isnt nearly as good as an H imo The H has a lot of potential that would be realized by outside the box thinking

do this ^^^^ now while you carry on perfecting the head flip and fullfill your dream.

then you can compare the two :D
