Awwww  There was a guy who did a seriously good port and polish to his ATR manifold, but I can't for the life of me remember his name!

Basically he cut the back off so he could get inside it with ease and then had the back welded back on.

As you want performance why don't you get an ATR manifold as it has single runners! Then try to port and polish that!!

I will have one for sale soon.

Edit: Nafe's post shows an ATR manifold like I said. ;)

Because then he'd have to go for a full on tune which isn't cheap to reap the benefits and not make a performance loss ;-)

You don't need to cut the standard prelude inlet to get at the important bits, just take the top off and port the holes down through the iabs.

The lower half of the mani can be abit more work to get off so I've only done the top to start with, and if your thinking about it try not to remove the tb butterfly it's a pain to get it sitting perfectly again and sticks.

I have one in work all done if you wanna buy it ;-)
