Engine Weight

Hi folks,
I'm just wondering how much a H22A engine weighs? I'm looking to buy an engine stand for when I do the head gasket on the Scirocco, but it'd be handy to buy one that's capable of supporting the heaviest engine I have - I don't need an exact figure, just what sort of ball park we're in

I'm thinking a stand rated for 450 kilos should suffice?
Cheers,
Josh

it would be under 100kg
i weighed a a5 head which was just under 30kg
the bottom end on bathroom scales weighed in at about 60kg.
manual gearbox is about 30 kg
with all attached inc intake it is a son of a gun to shift.

Cheers guys - yeah 450 does sound a lot when you consider the car weighs about 1200
Haha yeah I've done the obligatory engine drag along the driveway too Phil, I pulled my old F20B6 across the drive and into the garage so I guess they can't be too heavy - although the H22A bent my engine crane's jib on it's 250 kilo setting which led me to think it weighed more than that. Could just be that it's a shitty eBay crane though
Might go with a 450 kilo stand at any rate, doesn't cost much more so what harm can it do

I'd say well over 100kg, I lift 70-80 kg forequarters of beef out of my fridge every day but I couldn't man handle my new engine on my own lol
