h22a sump from bb4 vs h22a5 sump/ oil pan.

Hi guys and girls. I need to know whether a h22a5 sump/oil pan will fit onto a h22a bb4 no problems. Dose anyone know? If not do you know where i can get one from lol.

they are different, one's pressed steel (4th gen) the other is ally IIRC.
i was going to swap but didnt in the end, cant remember why though, it was when i first got the lude and did an oil change just to find the threads on my previous sump were on their way out

Yep thats wat has happened to me. Thread is ruined. So i take it that both sumps are the same size, shape ect interchangeable. But 4g is steel and 5g is ally?

I asked the same question a while back and I think Rich at PA chimed in. The gist of it was they were not compatible, I can't remember for the love of me why though.
The reason I asked was that I was looking at Ziyaans one for sale a while back to grab as a spare to get Rich to baffle.

Rich cant baffle the ally sump, do you think that was it?

The ally one used a load bridge too.
