whilst the engine is out, all i can suggest is to tighten the fitv seat if it has one.

In all fairness Sam, if it's for a track car and he's looking for performance and weight loss, things like the FITV he could dump altogether. But would need a new TB to do so unless he's handy fabbing things up?
As for anymore suggestions, just swapping an engine round doesn't give a heap of things to do. More a case of what do you have in the engine bay that can be dumped. Post a pic and we'll see, or give us more of an idea.

You can just reroute the coolant hoses and blank the FITV off with a bit of thin metal between the FITV and TB.
Use alloy plate to blank it off
Use sealer when placing the blanking plate
Basically connect 1-1 and 2-2 in the below pic.

this may not apply to the 4th gen, but the 5th has massive heavy dampers on two of the engine mounts to help reduce vibration, these add up to over 1kg and can be removed by simply unbolting them! It would be easy to do without the engine in and every little helps as they say!

As Merlin says just a re-route of hose and blanking plate. An aftermarket larger throttle body generally loose the FITV anyway, so no blanking plate to make.
It's not the hoses at the very bottom, that's your rad/heater hoses. I assume you do mean the ones right below the FITV he's highlighted. You loose some hosing and loop the other line through the IACV (Idle Air Control Valve) only.
What other things does the car have? Cruise control, aircon, power steering, ABS, etc. Cruise and aircon are easy to remove if you havn't already. If it's a track only car dump the power steering system and loop the lines on the rack and VSS. ABS removal is a slightly more detailed job, but alot easier with the engine out.
Also look at removing the carbon cannister and emissions control stuff.
Do you have the full Prelude pdf technical manual? If not download a copy on here. Have a good browse through that, should make things clearer. Otherwise keep asking away.
