Lude Generation

Are track car seems to be runing funny all spluttery and revs going up and down and just conken out. The we mecanic m8 is bleamen it on the plug/sensor at the tb and says to swap it with the other one on other engine. Could there be anything els that is doing it. (when u pull the plug out it doesent seem to drokk about just revs idrl bit more could u run a teack session with it of)

check for an air lock in the cooling system also the iacv could need cleaning out or adjusting

iacv were is this?

the 2 valves to worry about is the one underneath the throttle body which is the fitv and the other the iacv which is on the intake plenum behind the injectors as you look at the engine

Any pics of them pal. Do u just unscrew then give clean out with say petrol or what

Spot on pal. the thing gets me is that it was going fine when swaped engines then was ok at track day. Then parked it it for few days went back and it doing that

air could have become trapped especially if it ran a bit hot on the trackday
