So i understand Roskoracing have a write up. But TBH im not sure if its relevant to UK and JDMs and its too clear.
So anyone have an idea on where to start.

I have an ATR intake manifold with all injectors etc etc.

So what do i need to do and parts to order to retrofit it.
Also boring it out to 68mm and which TB to go for.
Which features to keep or not to keep etc etc.

I would like to strip it and paint it but any machine work need doing first or companies to use to bore it all out and port match.

What injectors and fuel rail will you be using??

I might keep my ATR manifold, depending how much it will cost plus how much bhp I will make at the end.. :geek:

This is the email direct from the man himself (When I emailed him asking for some help with EuroR on my S):

Hello Nitin,

I assuming that your current setup runs perfect. If thats the case then you will want to use your existing fuel injectors and fuel rail. If you don't and decide to use the Euro-R stuff that came with your manifold you would need to have the car tuned which you wouldnt be able to do with the stock ecu. There is a size difference between the type-s injectors and the Euro-R injectors and if those are mixed with the wrong ecu then the setup will not run correctly.

You dont need to purchase a fuel rail, unless you want to, but you would need my stock fuel rail adapter to be able to run your current fuel rail and injectors.

Besides that you should just need an iacv adapter plate to get the job done. The iacv adapter plate will let you be able to use your existing idle air control valve with the Euro-R intake.

The only downside I see is that you will be running a stock ECU since you mentioned you want to keep the ATTS system. A stock ecu will probably generate a check engine light because the Euro-R manifold is a bit of a different style then the type-s or usdm/jdm blacktop H22 manifolds. Those manifolds use an IAB plate where as the Euro-R does not. This changes the dynamic of the manifold slightly and in order to see its full potential you would want to be able to tune the setup to get the most power out of it. Since you will be running a stock ecu there wont be much you can do and honestly I dont know if you would see a gain in performance without being able to tune it correctly.

Hope that helps,

Thanks,

Shawn Roskilly

Type S is a PITA to remove the IM without drawing hand blood due to the oil filter being next to it. :(

Im looking to do this myself without driving 2 hours to PAW and back again to pick it up.
Also not sure i will fit it until i have a E-Manage ultimate sorted so not ill effects.

May use a bling fuel rail but OEM is fine.

8-) Excellent. I send him a PM when funds allow.
