Ok so I'm not quite sure exactly where its mounted but I know its along the intake pipe line, its has aload of vacuum pipes going to and from it, can I just take it out, wana tidy up the bay when I swap engines. What is it anyway?
I've one engine out and the other is stripped and coming out today so I just remember disconnecting it and saying I'll be throwing that in the bin lol.

I think you are on about the resonator control box. If you don't have the resonator it can be removed. Just plug any hoses that go back up to the intake manifold.

Not sure Wurly man, I'll try get a pic for you, it didn't look like it was doing much and I didn't see the need for it but I think it had a plug to that's why I was wondering incase it throws a code,

I think that's the Air Chamber and Intake Control Solenoid Valve which controls the resonator;
Yep if you don't want your resonator, you can unplug and remove that thing. Then also remove the check valve on the hose that runs to it as well and plug the vacuum hose there and then you can also remove the resonator from inside the front arch on that side (under the air box).
The check valve is a small white thing just out of site to the right of this pic (on the small hose attached to the side of the inlet plenum, just above the clutch reservoir in this pic)

The Porsche btw, is this one;
Which is getting this;
This;
This;
This;
This;
This;
This;

(unfortunately not this);

(or this);
This;
(Hopefully none of this);
And then This;
For this;
Well ok, actually this;
For hopefully one of these;
(except they look like this now);
And hopefully not one of these;
So that I can do this;
And turn the Porka into this;
But in order to do all that, I need to move this thing first...

Sorry for taking up everyone's valuable time with that...
