Being a bit thick..

Where would I find my gearbox code as I am trying to ascertain if a H22a will work with my existing box from the 2ltr.
And having this code apparently helps. :?

there is a barcode type sticker near the starter motor on the box and its printed on that. m2b4 is what you need to pray for :lol: but it wont be

Yes, your box will work. Don't need to see the code, they're all interchangeable. My H22 is mated to a H23 box atm.

This, my H22 is mated to a 2.0 box.

What are the ratio's like on the 2.0 box? What is it's gearbox code?

I think it's M2J5, sencond gear is looong. You can do 0-60 using only 1st and 2nd gear.

Just checked.. as told by those who know mines is a M2 J4 , so it should be ok :D
