Lots of litres for a full change, about 10 from memory.
I think the best approach is to drop the oil from the gearbox sump, about 4 litres, and refill that amount. Do this every, say, 10,000 miles and your good to to.
Swapping all the fluid needs specialist equipment that we really don't have access to and emptying the box fully is almost impossible without risking its internals.
Congratulations to vtecmec for winning May/June's Lude Of The Month, with his DIY Turbo BB1 build.

Oh, wow - that is a lot of oil! I appreciate the heads up... will take your advice and drop 4 litres for now, check back in 10,000 miles.

surprised a previous thread on this hasn't turned up - however a search for ATF isn't likely to turn one up tbf (because ludes don't use normal/generic Automatic Transmission Fluid. You MUST use the genuine Honda Automatic Transmission Fluid, if you want the box to last.
@mercutio and @newkid have posted up about it in the past - although I think it's all described in the oem service manual?

The quarnts are not as large as I suggested above, the manual suggests 2.5 litres for a drop and 6 for a full refill.

Think the advice was to do several of these partial flushes in succession (in between short trips) to get nearer to the 10 litres actually changed.
