OBDII Scanner / Data?

Can 5th gens use the bluetooth OBDII data scanners / transmitters?

No 16 pin connector in the 5th gen so these wont work

Clearly the lude does spit out some sort of data, as there are tools for sale on here that can read that data.

I wonder if they could be persuaded to create something to convert the feed they get into something OBDII compatible?

I have seen that but it doesnt fit the bill for me. I have a telemetry app for my phone which overlays the data on the video. The app can overlay even more data if it is plugged into the OBDII port.

That's the thing I meant though, if the guys behind that could instead make a translator to convert the signals to OBDII - that would rock!
