Help plz crank case ventilation

Post by ddoubledanny » Thu Jul 04, 2013 7:41 pm

Hi guys does anyone know the best way to vent the positive crank case pressure on a h22 turbo I'm so confused :? I have been looking on the yank sites and there is so many different ways to doing it any advice would really be great thanks 8-)

Oh and what would be the best way to do a catch can setup on a turbo as paw fitted mine and it has started to leak so I reckon the crank case pressure might be too high :?

The 2 outlets on the rocker should go to the catch tank, the catch tank should be full of something like this

Then have the 2nd pipe from catch take goin back to the inlet.

This is what I've read before and shall be adjusting my set up to soon.

Yes mate it's the front of the catch can but the filter is definitely not blocked do you reckon the actual catch can could be no good :?

Suprised paw set that up. The catch can should go between the pcv valve and the inlet mani.

You can have a can on both the crankcase inlet (which is what is pictured above) and the outlet (pcv to inlet), the vacuum is supposed to keep it working in that cycle.

How full is the can, and have you tried cleaning it out?
