Post by bigbfer » Sun Jul 21, 2013 1:38 am

Hi peeps ,can anyone tell me what the difference is between the 4G and the 5G H22 4-2-1 manifold??? I was thinking about to buy 1 only for my good m8's to pipe up and tell me he may has 1 lying in his garage, that was on his old track car some 2-3 years back :D, cut a long story short I can just take if a want it, but not sure if it will fit?

Any help would be great guys,u cant get better than a freebie

I ran a 4g mugen manifold on my 5g with no problem. The hanger at the back of the block doesn't line up but you can make up a plate or just leave it loose.
PAW rebuilt 98 prelude 228bhp & 171lb/ft R.I.P.

Thanks for the info Alex, unfortunately I wont be getting it now as my m8 told me something heavy has fell on it and bent it way out of shape. :x :?
I didn't think it would have hellish much off a difference :) I also thought as you have stated that the brackets may not line up or maybe the downpipe length may have been shorter after it curls under the sump maybe

Again good buddy thanks for the info :D
