Lude Generation

Hi guyz n gals need some help my autobox is not responding when i engage any forward gears the whole car jerks forward goes for a mile then just over revs and will not go through the gears but works ok in reverse any ideas ????

Check ger box oil
If thats ok u need a gear box by the sound of it
