Lude Generation

So the AA bloke is here and think its the fuel pump. All the leads, plugs and starter motor are fine but can't hear the fuel pump at all.

Where is the fuel pump located on a 4th JDM 2.2 and the fuse for it too?

try the main relay first

Sorry dude! Where is the main relay. In my papers I got with the car it's in the steering column on the left hand side it's a grey in colour?

Yep, do a quick search on here. It's harder to find and take out than it is to repair TBH!
Just resolder the contacts inside, job done

To help you narrow down between the relay and the pump:

When you turn the key to the position where it all lights up, just after there should be a 'click' sound. If you get that, the relay is working (at least that time), if not, it's probably your culprit.

What is the relay? The spark plugs are sparking and the AA bloke said if the relay was broken there wouldn't be a spark?

Yeah can hear the click. So it's defiantly the fuel pump.
