Auto gearbox dipstick

Ok this is a stupid question but i just want to check wen i change my gear oil is the max number one in pic where crosses finshes or number 2 as it seems very small between the marks wen filling

I thought 1 was max and the min is the bottom of the hatched section?

Yeah thats wat i thought but just making sure it wasnt underfilled an thats why my gearbox is playing up

Cheers guys going to change the oil plus got 2 more gearbox solinoids that are imaculate so hoping that mite make a difference as i hammered it earlier tonight like you do and it changed perfect so maybe i can fix it
