Just toying with the idea of changing the setup on my h22a, anyone put carbs or individual throttle bodies on one?! Is it worth doing or is it even possible?!

It might seem a bit sad, but I've had the fairing off the bike this week, and I do love the look of a bank of 4 carbs....

I haven't yet but I have a inlet converted with hayabusa itb's and a set of obx itb's to pick from. They should make good power and torque but they are really for very hi end builds.
Carbs are a bit more of a problem, I think you need special vtec carbs to add more fuel on vtec cross over, plus carbs never run very well and always need tuning IMO.

IMO utterly pointless unless your are running high comp and massive cams with PNP works

Generally ITB's on an H22 (Or any Honda engine for that matter) are considered the cherry on top of the cake. In other words, to see an actual benefit from them you need to have done every thing else to the engine already and be running 275bhp +.

itbs on stock engine wont net much gains but i wouldn't say they were ONLY for crazy n/a builds. if done properly will put a smile on anybodys face. not hard to fab up a set. carbs would be a nightmare to synchronize.
