Oil pump H22A7 vs. H22A8/A5

Have anyone compared these oil pumps or used them on other H22 engines? Maybe someone have them both now?

* Oil pumps and lower timing belt's covers part numbers are different. So my cover shouldn't fit on A7 pump ?
* Timing belt gear is different - does it influence the pump somehow?
* I don't use crank sensor (engine is in 4th gen), so I don't care if it's mounting holes are different or absent

My pump is working good, but because of this oil pump failure epidemic I'm thinking to change mine to new one.
And the thing is, that at my local Honda dealer, A7 pump is 37 % cheaper than A8 pump  So what must be done to fit A7 to A8 engine if possible at all ?
H22A2 pump is not an option, because part numbers also differ and it's also expensive.

Thanks for any ideas

In brief, the answer to your question is YES the A7 pump will fit the A8.
The lower plastic timing belt cover is shaped slightly differently but can be made to work ok.
The crank gears are different on the A7 yes but this has no bearing on the oil pump fitment or operation.
