The Oxygen sensor is a difficult thing to test unfortunately.
Have you read through the fault finding guide in the manual? There's a flow chart for code 1 and if you get to the end of that, it says to then do the tests for code 43.

Could do, if it's measuring the inlet air temp incorrectly then it will get the mixture wrong and that will probably have more effect when the engine is cold? The oxygen sensor shouldn't come in to play until the engine has warmed up sufficiently.

Yeah i let car warm up to normal temp then drove an car was fine so its air temp sensor which by the looks of it is honda only part plus its a pain to get out as its right next to abs pump with posi screws so mite have to take inlet mani out to get too

@paul72 I have a spare IAT. The IAT is very easy to change as it is on the passenger side of the intake manifold. A 2 min job provided you can get the screws out (Edit - I dont have ABS

). You can have my one for £5 delivered if you like?
Get a vid of your CEL code if you are not 100% of what it is.
