I know, cant believe I didn't think of doing it sooner. It's such a pain in the arse waxing the mould 5 times to still get streaks which then don't polish out :evil:

Interesting post :)

So what sort of time frame are we looking at for one of these to be made?
How do you attach the CF to the frame?

Cheers :)

For the blanking plates I can turn one around in 24 hrs as there isn't much prep to do before hand or cutting work to do afterwards which is nice. I've got a tool to cut out the gauge holes as well now so this doesn't cause a delay either.

The gear trims are proving to be a lot slower at the moment as they take about 3-4 hours to prep and about 10 hours to tidy up afterwards and finding the time is a big problem. You can ask Mercutio and LLL about that one :oops:

As for attaching the CF to the frame there are a couple ways you can do it, either with some double sided tape or if you want something a bit more permanent use some 2 part resin, you wouldn't need much something like this would be ideal;

If you want one drop me a PM with the details of what your looking for we can something out ;)

Alex.
Will the double blank plate fit a 4th gen stereo and tray area? or are these cut to 5th gen size?
Cheers
