The only difference is that 5th gens have a tab that slides into a holder on the knuckle. 4th gens do not have this. In all other ways they are the same.

I bought goodridge set for 5gen when I was doing 5 stud conversion. Anyway I did try to install this on my 4gen and rear ones were too short. Fixings were good. I cant say about fronts as I never get to them. I had to buy another set for my car and comparing both rears were about 50mm longer, and fronts about the same lenght but different mounting clips.
