I will be proposing a similar arrangement to Mr R Motegi also!

But hey, we'll wait & see.

You won't fit atts in a 3rd gen unless you get all atts Vss, abs sensors, yaw sensors atts ecu to name a few parts if many.
Fit an adapter late for a standards drive shaft and a uq27 or whatever its called LSD box and done.

Do you have to install abs system (including sensors) to run atts then?

Does your 3G have ALB?

For all the ATTS stuff yeah, you'd need sensors on the wheels. The ALB system in the 3G's was basically the same ABS system used in the 4G, and the sensors stayed the same 3/4/5 in how they work. So you would have had a lot of the required wiring etc if your 3G had ALB.

Ratty's chat about adaptor plates then slapping an LSD box on seems the best bet for you.

So I could still theoretically use this engine? And if so, would I be able to use the box that's on it currently, or would an M2B4 be a necessity?

If I've got to buy a box as well as the engine, it would not be financially viable in the time frame I have in mind.

I appreciate the atts would not be a functional feature at any rate.
