With tweaked ignition timing, this really is bolt-in BHP. Pulls better across the range.

I have a CEL (due to no knock sensor) but power is unaffected.

My only other issue is the idle occasionally fluctuating. Hopefully just requires a bit of a setup..

I shall hopefully get a back to back dyno of both ECU's done at some point
Thought I'd post up my rolling road result from today.
I quoted chrismc above because I'm too a ukdm car with jdm engine and Ecu, I too have a cel for Knicks sensor. I however thought it was effecting power.
It's deD before vtec and the timing is not being adjusted due to no knock sensor.

I'd also like to say this is not a chip from nucleustylzlude! I bought mine many years ago from sleepy, so has the 8500k rev limit.
The car has induction kit, mongoose cat back exhaust, Decatted, Megan racing manifold. And spoon chip.
The results :/ bit disappointed to be honest. Seen lots of Ludes similar mods making well over 200

Well I think the next step before the big money is to strip her down and recon/clean everythink etc.
Probably a real induction kit instead of my ebay specail. Something like a V2 :)

Is your knock sensor not wired up then mate?? I'd definitely get that done, as retarded ignition timing won't be helping you make power. I've not played with the ignition timing on my lude, but on my Golf it's surprising the difference a couple of degrees of advance can make to how the car feels!

it would definitely fill those dips in the power curve

Lol how come let you know? You have things to sell, or just want to laugh at me when I can't afford to eat lmao.

The knock sensor is pluged in, the wire leads off into the loom but I can't see what colour they are or where abouts it goes, so struggling to chase it, I'm Hoping it's just not come unplugged by the strut, where all the other plugs join But I don't know what to look for?

And yes getting the time g advanced a few degrees will certainly help, I don't have a Timing light yet though :/
