It's the AEM long intake ram. It's one piece so no hose pipe in the middle 8-)

Well here are the pics of the oddball intake i mentioned - it says on it AEM V2 1/2 - looks genuine to me :)

I go back from Edinburgh to Perth all the time so if you fancy the oddball swap I could do the exchange
I hit the limiter in my h23 vtec still didn't kick in

Will have a look and see if the resonator is still in situ and remove that 1st see what i think.

That "oddball" contraption would probably look no 3 bad with a lick of paint. Might give you a shout later on once ive removed the resonator.

Keep the type s intake, you will always want it back. Just save for a few weeks and buy the AEM V2 that means you would have the option of both.

Hi Nik,

I have an intake that i might be willing to swap. Here it is:

The system is made my Invo-auto, a company that used to make tuning parts but is now defunct. The cone is by Apiro.

It has a nice induction noise, but as i am going for a performance manifold & de-cat, i am looking to keep the volume down a bit :lol:

I live in Glasgow, we could meet half way somewhere if you fancy a trial? We could even swap over for a week or 2, if one party isn't happy, we swap back. What do you think? :D
