Prelude Remapped chips-JDM Spoon V2 Auto/Manual+UKDM+Chrome+
Re: Prelude Remapped chips-JDM Spoon V2 Auto/Manual+UKDM+Chr
I have now fitted one of Robs Spoon v2 chips into a socketed JDM P13 ECU & am running it in my UKDM H22A2.
With tweaked ignition timing, this really is bolt-in BHP. Pulls better across the range.
I have a CEL (due to no knock sensor) but power is unaffected.
My only other issue is the idle occasionally fluctuating. Hopefully just requires a bit of a setup..
I shall hopefully get a back to back dyno of both ECU's done at some point

That is the same as me. I had a bit of boucing idle but never got around to try and sort out the base idle screw. Nice to hear you think power has increased. To get rid of the CEL you could install a knock sensor, the H22a2 & H22a5's have the hole for it, they are very cheap on Ebay.com.chrismc wrote:I have a CEL (due to no knock sensor) but power is unaffected.

I'm guessing the electrical harness would need retro-fitting too? Will have to speak to rich
My only other observation is the car smells rich now & seems to have an appetite for optimax (fuelling for 10.5:1 comp instead of 10:1?) therefore a bit of extra breathing work would probably tie in nicely...
Tempted to try an ATR manifold for improved top end breathing on track...

Do you have a chip for a B20VTEC conversion at all? One which would fit a P28 or P30 ecu?
No rush. My mate is contemplating a vtec conversion to his B20 CRV. It obviously needs a VTEC ecu and more fuel for the 2.0 lump and when in VTEC.

Hey bud,
No sorry, I've not got a chip for a B20 VTEC. I would normally try and search for a map (most likely a basemap), but I just havn't got the time to be searching right now between the little one, new job and some web/graphic stuff I've got going on. Busy times!
Drop a line to Scott at H-Tune.
Cheers,
Rob
