No it locks the rear wheels in place for alignment purposes.

4WS to 2WS you need to swap subframes etc.

Because its that low the 4ws will not be very good lol. It will rub I reacon

my 5g is 4ws and lowered works fine on 17" rims

Mines that low, the top of the tyre is covered in the arch almost completely. Hense i need a 2WS subframe for the rear :)
