That pic is from the 3g service manual, yes.
Don't know if the tool you have linked in eBay is the correct one, but it looks it - good find!

Greg. - I've got one of these for my 4th gen (are they same for 5th gen ?), but as I removed the 4WS, I no longer need it. I can post it to you if you don't get one by time I get back from South Africa (I'm back in UK on 10th July - send me a PM then if you still need it)
