Why is no one answering???
As far as i have always been told... the a8 and type s manl sticks out further foward than h22a...
so if you tried fitting a a8 mani to a h22a the flange to the block would fit but you would need to notch out the
front crossmember for the downpipe....
so other way round may not work as downpipe to mani flange may be impeeded by the block...
if it did go on then you would have to costomize the cat/ decat to the right length as those flanges would not meet....

and if pauls mani is a ebay special japspeed then sorry to say they have no gain at all over oem mild steels
as they have the same internal bore as a oem jdm manl....

That's not 100% true. If you have an OEM manifold (16+ year old) with kanckered flexi bit and bashed down pipe bit then adding a Japspeed will increase the power as it will be better, no damaged down pipe etc even if they have the same internal bores. :geek:

Yes but nitin... one you are being padantic.... and any non damaged pipe is going to have gain over a bent one.....

they are called crapspeed for a reason!!!! The only stainless that rots in a week!!!!!

The only thing you gain is a rasp noise and the headache of wrapping it to make it look pretty....

As far as corrosion, they last perfectly ok IME? and at the price you can get them for in comparison with an OEM replacement flexi section, there is absolutely nothing to think about!

This was the Japspeed (Crapspeed) I had in my old Motegi.. Lasted more then a year :geek: Plus it's cheaper then buying a OEM Honda one and also a good to buy if you don't have money for the bigger aftermarket manifolds.. :geek:
