I know it's easy to isntall the Aerial (I already replaced mine as my car came with a crappy aftermarket one). How easy (I am a novice) to get the electrics all connected up correctly, as I don;t have an antenna switch on my dash.

Your UKDM doesn't have a switch because the half mast was only fitted to jdm models.

You can fit this to a UKDM and have 2 choices...
1. you can add the half mast switch, requiring extra wiring to be added between the cabin and the aerial in the boot.
2. You can fit the aerial and not worry about adding the half mast switch, but will need to change the connector in the boot anyway so that it plugs in and operates the mast to the correct height (UKDM plug is 2 pin iirc, whereas this has a 4pin plug although it only uses 3 pins, iirc).

Thanks for the info. I found a couple of write-ups on Google as well, so will see if I can figure it out (no pictures though, and I'mn a pictures guy :-) ). Do I simply need to run some wires fro mthe switch to the aerial in the boot, or does the switch need to be added to the wiring already going to the boot for the UKDM aerial ?
